To the uninitiated Lamborghini’s creations can look mad bordering on the absurd but to those in the know, this is what Lamborghini does well. Meet the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. A model designed to satisfy for the cravings of those customers that thought the standard ‘Aventador SV’ lacked a little edge, the SVJ is the ultimate expression of the Aventador.
Featuring dramatically enhanced body styling, the SVJ is a sight to behold. Angular and aggressive lines, louvres and cut out’s pepper the exterior whilst carbon fibre elements are used extensively. However whilst all of this drama may initially appear for cosmetic purposes, dig a little deeper and you soon discover that this is all present for a far more than just cosmetics.
The SVJ utilises numerous aerodynamic aids which allow the Aventador SVJ to deliver significantly more aerodynamic performance to that of its sibling. To be exact, the SVJ generates an extra 40% of downforce on each axle.
The SVJ features a powerful 6.5-litre V12 engine and is capable of some incredible performance statistics such as standstill to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds whilst a top speed in excess of 217mph is reachable. And if that isn’t enough the Aventador SVJ currently holds the record for the fastest production car around the Nurburgring.
